We need a blast of fresh color and design for our interiors. Neutrals are popular but there's a need for a bright and positive outlook. Take a look at this new color for your interior design. It's called tangerine tango and it looks just like it sounds; fresh, lively and bright.
Roberta Lathrop designed this interior using custom colors and classic details. I helped with the wall finish by hand painting a dramatic glazed silk curtain effect. Roberta came up with the perfect name; Dancing Silks.
Take a look at the TV screen and you'll see Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing together and that's the feel you get with the movement in this design. The sweeping shadows on the wall mimic the graceful steps of Fred's footwork and Ginger's long dress.
Pantone is the color authority and has all the info you need for new trends in color for interior design.

I’m in awe of the articles and demos and most of all, I just had a surge of energy imagining one of my black & white Grass Tree paintings on the tangerine tango colored wall {{oooh}} I can’t wait to paint it and do a mock up to show you.

Tangerine tango is a great color to provide excitement . It is fresh and this room was so fun.Everyone who entered into the room enjoyed the dancing silks design that Anna Donahue painted. What a great color for the Color of the Year.
Good choice. I did a similar color in a bathroom recently and it looks fabulous.
